Every GOP candidate should be asked if getting help from Karl Rove |
|
and if so, if they approve of his outing of Valerie Plame, smearing of John McCain, and swiftboating of Kerry--mostly the Plame thing.
If the GOP thinks Karl is going to help them win, he ought to be an albatross around their neck. Frankly, I was surprised the Democrats didn't make an issue of that when Arnold ran in the special election here in California. He got help from Karl and staff from Jeb, which would have made him radioactive if more people had known.

2. Don't give him more importance than he is due - |
|
He is just a prick, thats all.
Honest to God, he ain't that good. They know how to cheat, thats all.
Do they they know how to evade 200,000,000 people coming to tar and feather them - that is the question.
I don't think so.

3. point out what he does and that it has his fringerprints so its less |

likely to work.
The best way would not be to scream about it, but to shake your head in disbelief and say, "my opponent thinks so little of you and our democracy that he stoops to taking advice from Karl Rove."
I don't think it would take much effort to turn his name into a slur the way the GOP did to "liberal."
It is not that he is good, it's that he is represents the absolute worst of what the Bushies are and therefore, should get credit for that--and so should any candidate he helps.

It should be a slur, and I think will be taken as such this November.

He is just a fat and bald SOB from Texas, thats all.

4. I think it's just a smoke screen. |

You think that he is "demoted" only two days after the verdict in the Ryan trial is a coincidence?
They hear Patrick's footsteps on his way back to Washington and they know he didn't empanel that new grand jury for the hell of it. Rove is as hot as a six hundred degree charcoal briquet.
I totally still expect indictment. And I think this is step one of them knowing it too.
