If Bush is impeached Cheney would NEVER accept Prez role
Besides, he's already been running the show from day 0ne, the man couldn't physically couldn't handle a full time position as prez, with Bush taking the shots/heat on current events scandals/investigations etc...Cheney would drop dead simply by putting in the necessary time to run a country, that's the only reason I believe a characyer like Bush is the front man.

2. count the days you hear of Cheney actually working??
Cheney worst nightmare is Bush getting impeached simply because he would have to spend more time in the spotlight which is something 24/7 he can't handle! Bush's only role is spokesman for the group! end of story!

3. He doesn't want to be in the spotlight. But I think
Cheney already works 23.5 hours a day, and the lack of REM sleep is part of his heartlessness, but it is a choice on hsi part. I think he'd love to be pres and burn that candle at both ends and go down in flames.

7. Bush knows Cheney is calling the shots and doing his best being "decider"
same goes for Rumsfeld, who else is going to keep the Iraq war going? this war wasn't meant to end, it was designed to continue!!
