Condi forced to sacrifice her popularity (and credibility) for Iran war.
Notice how Condi has been the primary spokesperson touting the potential need to start a war with Iran? That's because she's the only one in the administration whose approval ratings exceed her disapproval ratings. The administration knows that Bush, Rummy, Cheney, etc. have zero credibility when it comes to justifying the need to go to war (Condi has none either, but for some reason, the public still has not caught on to her integral role in the Iraq war debacle). So the administration has been intentionally using Condi as the spokesperson, hoping that the American people will be to stupid to recognize that the administration is again crying wolf.

WHEN WILL THE PUBLIC RECOGNIZE THAT THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION LIES TO US ABOUT THESE PURPORTEDLY "NECESSARY" MILITARY ACTIONS?! THE EVIDENCE IS ALL OVER THE PLACE!! TO THOSE WHO SAY, "BUT WHAT COULD BE THERE MOTIVE?," JUST LOOK AT THE INDUSTRIES WITH WHICH THE MEMBERS OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION HAVE BEEN AFFILIATED THROUGHOUT THEIR CAREERS - MILITARY CONTRACTING AND OIL! AND WHICH INDUSTRIES HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY BOOMING OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS AT THE EXPENSE OF THE AMERICAN TAXPAYERS??? MILITARY CONTRACTING AND OIL!!!

Sorry about the rant. I just got a bit worked up there for a moment.

2. Credibility? OK, I'll play along....
and she doesn't have half as much "credibility" as Colin Powell had, so imagine where her rep is headed. :scared:

4. Exactly.
She has NO credibility with me (nor does she deserve any), but the public perceives her as credible. So using Powell as an example, she is probably ruining her own political career by acting as Bush's lap dog.

3. The same thing they did with Powell...
a lot of people trusted Powell *before* it turned out he lied for Bush.

And now, we have Aunt Tom taking Uncle Tom's place.

Sorry for the racial language, but I have to call a spade a spade here.

5. It's like the horror movies where they kill of black people first.
For Iraq, Colin Powell fit that bill for them. For Iran, it'll be Condi.

8. Her "credibility" is based on the fact that most Americans know nothing
about her. If they bother to watch the news she's just the hardcore spokes-model the administration is using to propel the upcoming fiasco. Her background and long list of failures (all good for big oil and weapons manufacturing) are a complete black hole to them.
