About that "Bush* would be a great guy to have a beer with..." |
|
What the hell could you talk to the guy about? He would just be flipping the one-liners at your expense, the follow those with "eh, eh, eh, eh."
He couldn't carry on a conversation. He would babble and change the subject all the time. If he talked about anything, it would probably be about himself ("watch this drive!")
I don't get the idea of sharing a beer with him. He's a frat guy. Didn't Kevin Bacon play Bush* in "Animal House?"
That's my two cents...

voted for him because they thought he seemed like the kind of guy they could have a beer with. He would piss on their shoes, tell them it was raining and then walk away laughing.

6. I abstain from alcohol |

so the thought of having a beer with this person never crossed my mind. But I've never seen what anyone who does drink would see in him, unless he was buying.

8. No, but I would raid his frat house! |
|
When I was a mindless sorority girl, a few of us loved to sneak into the arrogant frat houses the morning after a drunk and carry out all their furniture out to the lawn, steal their composite or any other generally snotty action to piss them off. It was hardly sport but an entertaining way to spend a Sunday morning. ;)

9. Having a beer with Bush would be like this: |
|
Edited on Thu Apr-20-06 06:44 PM by ocelot
You invite him over to your place for a backyard barbecue. He grabs one of those big plastic cups and helps himself to the keg, and before long he's hammered. He sidles up to your teenaged daughter and tells her a lewd joke, then knocks over the grill, pees on your rosebushes, steps on the dog, and is still sitting on your back porch laughing like Beavis and Butthead and making armpit-farts with your unemployed brother-in-law long after everyone else has left. You ask him to leave so you can go to bed, but the next morning when you get up you find him out cold in his tighty-whities on your couch, drooling on the upholstery, and there's vomit and cigarette burns on your coffee table.
Yep, he'd be fun to have a beer with.
