Goshen Township Sewer Worker Saves Kitten

A Goshen Township worker is responsible for the rescue of a kitten who had been trapped in a storm sewer for several days.

Children in the Green Trace subdivision on Ironledge Court heard the kitten crying from the sewer a few days ago. The children began throwing food into the sewer to keep the kitten alive. But, unable to figure out a way to help the kitten escape, they called township officials.

The township sent a maintenance worker to rescue the kitten this afternoon.

Another township worker has offered to take the kitten home and adopt it.

I mean it is great that the kids were concerned but also sensible enough to not try to save the kitten themselves. Kudos also to the man who saved the kit and the co-worker who will adopt it.
