The Deciding Vote '08: America's Workers
New Poll From Lake Research Partners Focuses On Key Voting Bloc

DENVER, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Can Barack Obama capture the votes of
working Americans? Lake Research Partners President Celinda Lake will
release a new poll, at 11:30 a.m. on August 25, 2008, on what presumptive
Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama needs to do to capture the
working American vote in the November election. Economic Policy Institute
President Larry Mishel will also release an analysis of the economic trends
threatening the American Dream and the impact on working families. Change
to Win Chair Anna Burger will join other labor leaders to discuss their
action agenda and 2008 political program for restoring the American Dream
for America's workers.

Change to Win delegates, labor leaders and members will gather in

people again; the right of workers to join a union without fear of employer
interference, intimidation, or coercion; affordable health care; a secure
retirement; and, building a new green infrastructure to create good jobs
and a sustainable economy for the next generation.

The American Labor movement has invested HEAVILY in this election. Sure hope it's not "business as usual" WHEN Obama is elected. Hopefully, we will make gains in the Senate & have a clear mandate for CHANGE....
