A worker hurt on the job, hurts more when you know them

The secretary of our union local lost her husband to cancer in April. Today she got a phone call from somewhere near Springfield, Illinois. Her son works for a mom & pop contractor. He was running a high pressure washer of some kind. He suffered a bad laceration to his arm that needs surgery. That is all I know at this time. If anyone finds the story online, please post it here.
