I got this from breaking news.

H.R. 5449 just failed to gain a 2/3 majority in the House.

The FAA will now be able to unilaterally impose a contract on the nation's air traffic controllers.

1. thank you for posting the fairfaa site. it was sad to see the ATC guys in
DC yesterday after the votes came back. This was once again a strong armed tactic by the WH admin freaks to bust the unions. We had several ATC personnel in our picket line as well as the president of the union of the ATC controllers...a super person, but I did not get his name.

I was there yesterday in front of the FAA building on the issue of the cabin crew health ramifications of the extreme work regs and environmental concerns
A study which was paid for by our taxdollars and it is being held up in the beaureaucracy of the FAA (Marion Blakey).

I just got in I am more exhausted than ever, but I will post more on this later. I am glad to be home.
