Donald Burnette was recently laid off from Circuit City after his 20 year career delivering and install appliances to customers homes. His was release because he made over the cap for his area of employment.

but 'WE' sure wouldn't want the shareholders and senior corporate executives to have to take the solid gold spoon out of their mouths. Not only did Circuit City lose a dedicated employee, but they also lost a lot of customers, including me.

3. Many companies are starting to do this
The employees who worked hard, got the pay increases are not being let go because they make more than the company thinks they should.
Most companies are not this blatant about it, some just stop giving raises, others intimidate the employee until they quit. Still others just pile the work on until the employee is burned out and quits.
I have seen it happen to several people I know.

4. The only store in Omaha closed

Otherwise I'd boycott. I did shop there on occasion.
