Janitors for Justice march in Cincinnati
By Maryanne Zeleznik 4/17/2007 1:02:28 PM

Janitors in Cincinnati, Columbus and Indianapolis are trying to get respect, health benefits and better wages. They held marches in all three cities today. Cincinnati spokesman Kevin O’Donnell says janitors often make as little as $26 a day. Dozens of janitorial workers marched down Vine street to the annual Convergys shareholders meeting. The group Janitors for Justice is critical of Convergys and Western Southern because of money they received from the city during the past decade or so. Convergys has not made a comment about the march so far.
