family friend came

was relating a 'funny' story. It seems one young AF married

down to several other people near the balcony of the
apartment. "Want to see the
new baby"? "Yes, yes, show us the baby!".
Whereupon the owner of the male
voice held up what appeared to be a baby - then tossed it to

on the balcony
was laughing. Personally, I think he should be horsewhipped,
and said so.

26. A couple of observations

What's up w/ the logo in the upper left corner?

The logo could be a hint at where the video came from. Believe it, or not, there are some really sick sites out there that major in taking video and making a couple of edits to make it seem really grim. I can't make out the logo, but it could be telling if we knew the original site the vid came from.

The puppy's yelping ... is that real? Sounds like it's edited in.

Is the puppy even real? I've read the comments and I agree that when you pick up an animal by its scruff they stiffen up like that. Also, dead animals don't usually have their tails between their legs.

I don't know ... the whole thing is twisted and sick, but keep a couple of things in mind here.

The age of the guys, what they're going through, and how many dogs they see everyday.

You might wonder what the hell the later has to do w/ anything. Well, I was stationed in Guam, and there were a lot of wild dogs. They called them Boonie Dogs, and they aren't man's best friend. They don't resemble any kind of domesticated dog and they can't be domesticated, I've seen people try ... they fail. These wild feral dogs show heavy signs of aggression even as puppies. NO, as puppies they can't hurt you, NO you shouldn't hurt them and do EVIL things to them. I am only trying to give people some "possible" insight.

I once saw a video from "down under" of people playing "bunny" baseball. Their fields had been literally overrun with rabbits. They were everywhere ... like insects, like flies. The farmers had their crops eaten and the cute bunnies were no longer even seen as cute at all. They were like rodents and they had to be irradicated. The HUGE task put the farmers and workers over the edge who after a long time resorted to trying to make fun out of a very grim situation. Not cool, but it took place. I don't advocate bunny ball.

When I was stationed in Guam, Boonie Dogs were viewed pretty negatively. They hadn't reached the problem the rabbits had down under, but I don't know how well their young were treated when people came upon them. It can be difficult to have positive feelings about the young of animals who do you harm. In the eyes of the people who have to deal with such feral animals, seeing their young could very well look like a chance to deal with tomorrow's problem today.

On that note ... I DO NOT ADVOCATE "DEALING" WITH THAT PROBLEM THE WAY THAT SOLDIER "DEALT" WITH IT.

Like it or not, if the young of feral dogs have to be put to death, then it should be in a humane way.

No doubt our soldiers have been affected by the "last throws" of war in Iraq.

This is an example of how people discontinue functioning rationally when dealing with a situation like the one in the video. It shows the break down in leadership and how a 'win at all costs' attitude can break a human down to having zero worth associated with life, unless it's keeping your fellow soldiers alive.

Many would tell us that it's war. We're at war for God's sake!

Exactly fuckers ... we're at war. If any us were to have come up w/ what's in this fucking video as what we would see as the mental breakdown of our soldiers as a result of going to war with Iraq. so what's the big deal over a puppy? Do we care more about a puppy than all the innocent people who have been killed in this illegal war? When people care more about the fate of a puppy than the fate of humans, are those people more sick than those that did this to a puppy?
