1. Great smackdown of Scarborough for making stuff up, too. |
I hadn't seen this...mainly 'cause I cannot bring myself to watch Scarborough. Thanks for sharing. :)

5. Yep...dem pundits would do well to take a page from Maher |
He kept his cool, stayed on topic (even though Scarborough tried his best to change the subject), and with simple, measured logic beat Scarborough down. If it went this way all the time, from the very beginning, we would have saved ourselves a great deal of heartache, because these types of arguments would have never made it to the floor to begin with.

4. "concerned with the presidents own safety" hmmmmmm looked to me |
like Bush was thinking "Oh my God this is what it is like to be in combat" and he froze. Happens in combat, especially with new guys, but I love the look of the "deer caught in the headlights" Twig had on his face. Of course he rushed right back to Washington to ensure the country was secure, right, RIGHT? NO, he did what all republicans do he ran like hell, the tradition continues.

6. And then you got those 20+ minutes where he posed for photos... |
that came AFTER the 7 minutes he sat in the classroom.
So, roughly 30 minutes after our "leader" heard "The Nation Is Under Attack" he finally decided to move... to hide under a Nebraska cornfield.
What a guy.

on 9/11, that he was just trying to get out of harm's way. Yeah, what a guy! :puke:

8. I just finished Trauma Surgery, and when the Trauma pager goes off |
I DON'T SIT FOR SEVEN MINUTES FIGURING OUT IF ITS WORTH MY TIME TO SHOW UP TO THE TRAUMA BAY!!! I GET MY ASS IN GEAR AND MOVE!!!
Chimp is an idiot and a coward for not doing the same upon hearing the the country was under attack. Maher is right to call for his impeachment on those actions alone.

9. I detest agreeing with Scarborough but I do this time |
A seven minute lapse of judgement about what to do is not sufficient reason to impeach a president. For Bush there are literally a HUNDRED better reasons to do it.
