If neither one can win, what's the hurry to end the primary season?

9. Actually, I've seen Obama rise above most of the nonsense.. |
|
and focus mainly on the issues. Thats why I chose him over Clinton and that is why most liberals and many republicans that I know are voting for Obama. I am very tired of the double speak and insinuations from the Clinton campaign (my prediction is that this will sink the democratic party and then everyone will be wondering why we lost to the republicans again unless this stops!). I believe this should go to the end of the primaries just like Lou Dobs said and that is what Obama and his campaign has said all along (it's not the elections themselves causing the problems...it's the dirty playing). As for Michigan, why did they not have another election because how can they even talk about splitting the votes or anything else when Clinton was the only one on the ballot? With Florida, I'd go with the results even though another election there would probably give more votes to Obama this time around. Both states really messed up not going along with the original plan. I admire the democrats in Florida though for insisting on a paper trail for voting even though the repugs made them change the date of the primary in order for them to go along with it! Sounds like a typical ploy of the repugs to foul up yet another election!

19. I'm guessing you are talking about the Florida primary??? |
|
I heard about this first a few weeks ago when the dicussion about what happen with Florida's primary was very hot (when Hillary Clinton finally realized she needed those votes). So I goggled "florida primary and elections with a paper trail" and there are many articles on this but I can't seem to figure out how to transfer those articles to this blog! I'm new at this(# of posts). Can someone help me because I have spent several hours trying to figure this out. One article is from the Boston Globe May 4, 2007 "Florida Moves Primary behind N.H. Vote". I hope this helps.

As an Obama delegate, I was asking for a "source" from bellasgrams, who accused Obama of whining and playing the race card...which I think is patendly bullshit.

4. I don't often agree with Lou Dobbs, but I think he's mostly right on this one, too. |
|
I am suspicious, though, of him, Joe Scarborough, and other "independents" that have made similar comments recently. I suspect they are trying to help their Republican friends rather than speaking what they genuinely think.

no opinion should EVER be taken at face value. Whether you like the person rendering it, or not. Always listen with a critical ear... and you won't go wrong.
Don't check your brain at the door!

Kennedy/Carter took it to the convention. I'll have to research. Was the primary this close in that instance?

7. I don't know if it was this close.... |

but it was much uglier.
Big difference is... we didn't have 24/7 cable "news" spewing their whacked out opinions all the time.

11. What absolute horsecrap... |
|
...to infer or imply that there is some sort of national media bias to hand Obama the nomination, when it is crystal clear that the MSM are trying to make a horse-race out of this beyond what is realistically attainable for HRC.
The data has been crunched and the math does not lie: Hillary has exactly ZERO chance of being the Democratic designate in this race. What she is doing is waging a scorched-earth campaign against Obama that will ensure McCain's installment, so that she can take another shot at it in 2012. The MSM, wholly corporate-owned, wants HRC to be McCain't's General Election foil, because they believe she can be beaten.
If you HRC acolytes think that Lou Dobbs is on your side for any other reason than that he feels a Hillary win in the primaries will lock up a McCain't presidency, then you are truly delusional.
IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THAT.

Not to mention he HATES Obama. Can it be any more obvious? Obama as nothing to do with the seating of Florida and Michigan.

20. OP thanks for the video |
|
I like Lou Dobbs show and I try not to miss it. He is much more fair and balanced then KO. Actually KO is down right nasty toward Clinton. Anyway, the main point I took away from the video was that Howard Dean has failed as a leader of the DNC and he isn't taking charge of the FL/MI issue and he wont take responsibility either. And I'm afraid if the democratic party loses in november he will have the blunt of the responsibility on his shoulders.

Never seen the media so heavily favor someone ? Kerry had to read an NYT article about the weapons dumps in Iraq being unguarded AS HIS STUMP SPEECH in order to show how completely incompetent W& co. were
I could go on but this is why I don't waste my time watching the MSM anymore.
Oh and Lou the media isn't giving Obama a pass (that is a tell by the way-Dobbs clearly supports the known quantity that is Hillary at least known and "trustworthy" to the ruling class) the lily-white press doesn't know how to talk about or to blacks so they finally settled on bashing Rev.Wright because it is the only thing the corporate braintrusts can come up with.
