6. He explains it perfectly...
something I have been waiting to hear from the Dems. I want them to make sure that the people know who did what and when and how.The Dems have been hemming and hawing and parsing their words and letting the RepubliCONS make them take back the truth when they do tell it like it is..

8. ESPECIALLY struggling Republicans
There is a false notion here that Obama and Clinton are fighting for the Democratic nomination, then it will be Democrats versus Republicans in the fall.

Obviously that is true to a certain extent, but this is a year that is different in many ways. As was discussed in a recent thread, Obama and Clinton are separated by the fault line between progressive Democrats and "New Democrats". The DLC "new Democrats" have more in common with the right wing neocons. The best evidence is Bill's speaking income and Lieberman's behavior in general.

There are millions of people supporting Hillary who don't understand this fault line, and they will be with Obama in the fall. But there are millions more whom we don't want and don't need on our side. This is a year of realignment where we cast out the Liebermans and draw in the people who have been voting Republican in direct opposition to their self-interest. There are at least 5 million of these voters who have enough of an open mind to reason through this, given a clear well-focused spokesman.

Obama is that spokesman, and we will shake the bedrock with this election.

9. Obama won't make it to WH
unless we stop what is going to take place before hand. This coming week Gen. "ass-kissing little chicken-shit" Betrayus is going to go before congress and do his best to convince everyone we desperately need - matter of life and death - to attack Iran ASAP.

http://www.opednews.com/articles/opedne_paul_cra_080405_petraeus_testimony_n.htm

Soon after this, before the end of April something big, bigger than 9/11, it has to be to again shock & awe the sheeple, will occur. Immediately after bush will order a nuclear attack on the obvious scape-goat Iran. Between economic collapse, food and energy shortages and chaos that ensues Marshal Law will be easily declared. Even if elections are not out-right canceled, (which I believe they won't - must keep illusion going) in another "close election" brought to you by Diebold, it will be President McInsane because in a "time of war" you can't have some wimpy "peace" guy, or women in charge!

And for those that think this can't happen - it's happening! Look what's been going down recently: Fallon resigns, Betrauy-us blames Iran for Green Zone attacks (?), troops are beginning amassed on border of Iran, renewed fighting in near region of Basara, March 30th bush declares all banking interests to stop doing business with Iran banks, naval deployment is up to pre-Iraq levels, bush co-ordinating plans with Putin, cheney makes a visit to Saudi Arabia and within days after he leaves its leading newspaper mentions preparations to protect against nuclear fall-out - now this!

There's only one thing left - an excuse. Can anyone say "false flag operation"? - I knew you could. The Shell Game scenario plays out, a "dirty-bomb" attack on a major city.

I don't mean to throw this off-subject, Obama gave a nice speech. But I don't care if he got on that stage and healed the sick it won't mean shit-to-a-tree if we FIRST don't stop these cretins from sleep-walking us into another war(s)!

And DON'T tell me "it CAN'T happen", either. I've been watching like everyone else at what this gang of blood-thirsty goons have been doing and MAKING it happen as we stood around with our mouths open for 7 1/2 years saying things like, "... this can't be happening ..."! Who stopped them from doing whatever they wanted to do? - steal an election(2) DONE - kill 3,000 people. DONE - use that as a pretext to start two illegal wars. DONE - kill over one-million people and counting DONE - torture. DONE. So please tell me what's going to stop them from attacking Iran? Congress? HA! Not unless we sit on their chests.

There is no wait till 09' or next day - there is only now - there is only us. No more calls - no more lame excuses - we clog-up their halls - we demand action! They don't act, they're first to go and we march on White House!

Stop this attack first or elections simply won't matter. For those of you thinking I'm being mellow-dramatic simply look what they've already done and explain as long as none of them have been held accountable why they wouldn't continue? Do you think these cretins are going to just hand power over to anyone or group who poses a threat to them because of an 'election"?

Only if it happens my friends ... only if it happens

If not now? When?

If not you? Who?

If this extended primary season has accomplished anything, it has re-enfranchised the late states.

12. Obama was outstanding when he spoke in Missoula, MT that morning.
I was fortunate to be in Missoula Saturday and volunteered to work at his event on the campus of the University of Montana. After John Edwards dropped out, I have been closely watching Hillary and Barack to decide which to support. I, like so many others, have admired and supported Hillary through the years and believe her to be a very intelligent, strong woman. Not liberal enough for me, but few are. I was also one who had hoped Obama would wait until later to run. I liked him a lot but wasn't sure he was tough enough.

What I saw on Saturday morning blew me away and put me firmly in Obama's camp. Although our Democratic governor, Brian Schweitzer, and Democratic senators, Max Baucus and Jon Tester, were all in attendance, Barack was introduced by the student leader of the Montana chapter of Students for Obama. I saw a genuine, articulate, humorous man who had the audience on their feet repeatedly. He was greeted by a roar when he stepped on stage and was constantly interrupted by applause and standing ovations. For those who believe only the young are supporting Obama in large numbers, the audience at UM was made up of people of all ages and groups.

So many here at DU have made fun of the "cult-like" dedication of Obama's supporters. I now can understand their passionate support. I loved Edwards and believed him to be the best candidate. But he never made me feel as excited and yes, hopeful, as Obama did. The man is the real deal. He has great ideas and there is substance there that cannot be ignored or dismissed.

I rarely post but visit DU daily. I hope I listened to the next President of the United States on Saturday.

14. Problems trickling up
I liked that phrase, even though the problems at the bottom rising up to the higher levels will be more of a tsunami than a trickle.

16. That's excellent. That's the kind of rhetoric I can get behind.
Talking, frankly, about who gets to have their wishes fulfilled and who does not.
