In fact, the only "us" I can think of is McCain and SOME of the GOP. Well, Hillary certainly is defining who she is with this one.

How does a holiday from the gas tax hurt the oil companies? For that matter why does voting against the gas tax holiday equal standing with the oil companies?

As I see it we drop the gas tax for a few months so it's cheaper at the pump without taking a dime away from the oil companies (yeah, I know she's talking about windfall profits tax but that's in some vague future time). So consumers can afford to buy more gas, therefore oil companies rake in more profits. Seems like her proposal nice little summer gift to the oil companies.

thats the republican solution to anything! throw a tax cut at the people and make them shut up but never fix the problem!

Next thing you know, she is going to start calling the Oil Co's "evil doers!"

Have you noticed that she has stopped saying the "g" at the end of words when she talks about "workin' people" who are "payin' a lot at the gas pump!"

This woman is a phoney as a $3 dollar bill.

And, in the mean time, 150 noted economists have issued a joint statement saying the "McCain/Clinton" gas tax holiday, is nothing more than a very bad election year gimmick.
