Because they are divided in their choice of presidential candidates to support this year; mccain or Hillary.

4. Not to defend the indefensible.

His comment was clearly and is clearly out of line, however, there is a notable distinction between saying that the KKK is torn between endorsing Hillary and saying that the KKK is Hillary. Farrakhan endorsed Obama but nobody claims that Obama is Farrakhan.

There is an internet rumor started by a satire site suggesting that Obama was endorsed by the Klan.

Yeah, oddly enough your taking his extremely inappropriate comments to mean something they don't (endorse vs. is). Although, chiding you for that almost seems as petty as pointing out that because it is written it is libel and not slander.
