Jordan was great individually, but one man cannot win an NBA championship. The thing that made Jordan so much better than his peers was not his individual skills which were superb. It was his ABILITY TO MAKE EVERYONE AROUND HIM BETTER

This may have been John Kerry's finest moment since the famous "How do you ask a man to be the last one to die for a mistake?" speech. I have never been prouder of Kerry than right now. This is how we win. We don't scream and cuss. But we look them straight in the eyes and tell them they are wrong and don't back down an inch.

We have a team with a lot of individual skills: Kerry, Clinton, Edwards, Richardson, Clark, Gore, Carter, Pelosi, Reid, Waxman, Feingold, and many more. What never haven't had is the guy who could bring them all together raise everybody's game to a new level. The Republicans are really toast. We own them on the issues. We own them on the arguments. And now we're going to own them on passion and mental toughness.

By the time this capmaign is halfway over, McCain is going to be calling Bob Dole asking him how he can get a gig selling Viagra.
