5. I hope he runs in 2008 |

If we can't get a nominee from our own Party that will stop this war, I believe Hagel would.
In this case I'm a single issue voter.

6. Trust me you do not want Hagel in the White House |
|
He is a very corrupt man, he used to be CEO of a voting machine company and then landed an upset victory in which his own companies machines counted the votes.
He may be an ally on the war, but he is not an ally on anything else. We can get a Democrat who will end the war, we do not want Hagel in the White House.

7. Hagel is like Specter, he knows so much, nobody can fool w/ him. |
|
And he just gets pissed off sometimes and tells the truth. I agree with you, he's difficult, at best, to trust. His roots are with very right wing Republican money. He was smart enough to navigate through those corridors of horror and survive. Now he can say just about anything. He's got the goods on a whole lot of things. His former patrons may disagree but they will remain silent. In a sense, Hagel is an existential hero, found the meaning of life too late to save himself...so he's saving us (ok,I'll stop now, just having a little fun). We DO NOT want him as President. We DO want him kicking ass. Let him work it out, on them;)

8. Thanks for posting. K & R. Hagel is a strange bedfellow, but I can't argue with this. |
