Today Show - May 28, 2008.

Idiots. The fact that they're having the conversation is proof they didn't do their job.

Idiots.

Damn, they make a lot more money than me. Why?

1. exactly..
the final comment by Couric grinds me... I'm pretty sure she didn't exactly state that the people protesting loved their country every bit as much as those backing Bush blindly...

2. Did we ask the right questions?....doh. I'm going to say...NO, you dumb ass idiots!!
Do they NOT read the blogs? Do they not listen to the public they are supposed to serve? The ass hats!!

I say run them all out on a rail. They have disgraced their profession and allowed this dictator and his crime family to screw this country upside down.

Now...here's a question, idiot.....when are you going to turn in your resignation so someone of integrity can take your place???

3. Charlie Gibson basically lost all credibility during the debate a few weeks back.

4. Pulling out my afro
This is beyond aggravating. Everyone on the left knew that this thing was a con from the start. Deep inside these people did to. What they're really saying with their silence is "My job is worth more than my integrity."

5. That was just irritating and infuriating to watch. Thanks though because I missed it and...
...would not have heard about it if not for your posting it and therefore would have lost my chance to be as fully and appropriately pissed off as I am right now and take pleasure in being of this particular quintet of fucktard mediawhores.

I distinctly remember them asking "How high?" when Bush said Jump!

7. One Question Never Answered
One question I have never heard one newsperson ask:

During the debates with Gore, George Bush stated that US needed a more humble foreign policy--no more nation building.

However, he staffed the Defense Department, State Department, and NSA with individuals who had been calling for action for Iraq for years.

People like Abrams, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Armitage, Bolton, Wolfowitz.

Is it not true that you had plans for Iraq from Day 1?

YouTube all day.

Their comments are incredible. Literally. In that they stretch credulity.

11. Not so fast media people- You gave out false info that you knew or should have known was false
Edited on Thu May-29-08 10:58 PM by Dr Fate
Its not honest to frame this as "did we ask enough questions"- I call Bullshit.

You lied. You repeatedly presented false info on a mass scale- not once, not twice, not 20 times- but literally thousands of times. False info that you knew or should have known was false.

It's not a matter of asking liars questions-its a matter of investigating, researching. Instead, you repeated fake or questionable information and allowed false arguments in the name of "objectivity".

I love how the media wants to blame the whole thing on Bush now- the old "we were fooled" lie yet again.

12. It's amusing watching these media whores engaging in this soul searching
that amounts to little more than window dressing.

Next issue, they'll revert back to being the media whores the Bush Administration wants them to be.

Maybe the toothless inbreeds that actually watch their crap on TV will believe them. Not me.

13. When Katie Couric has more balls than the other four on stage
... what is the world coming to?
I think the appropriate follow-up question would be, "What do we do to fix things?"

15. All is needed is a 'then & now' film montage
to contrast these statements with the actual film clips, I expect one is in the making. To be fair I am glad my life is not on film, but these guys can be archived to check the accuracy of what they are saying.
It seems apparent no one in mainstream media ever expected to have to explain being a part of the propaganda machine, perhaps they expected it to continue indefinitely. They just took the $$$$$ and lived the high life, and really sold out. Now they have to live with that.
