Scott McClellan is currently the subject of a White House smear campaign because of his new book. But as press secretary, McClellan helped smear Richard Clarke after Clarke revealed that the White House “ignored terrorism for months” and sought to tie 9/11 to Iraq immediately. According to Clarke, McClellan apologized to him last night, stating, “I should have known how personal it would get when they went after me, well, I mean, after what I said about you.” On MSNBC today, Clarke said the apology was “genuine.”

1. Richard Clarke is a gentleman
He doesn't have to be gracious to Scott McClellan, but he is.

2. I agree and I think Richard Clark is a true hero
:applause: Maybe it was Richard Clark's influence who gave encouragement, with the added credibility needed ,for Scott to finally speak up and tell the truth...

I'm hoping more insiders in the Bush administration will speak up... Soon!:scared:
