As reported by Walter Cronkite on his last broadcast as host of the CBS Evening news ... interesting attempt to control the questioning, rather than randomly chose who to speak to, the Reagan White House had a lottery on who would be called on and in what order (the WH reporter, Leslie Stahl, did state that reporters normally not pick by previous President did draw a lucky number)
