2. Absolutely INFURIATING!
I watch/hear stuff like this, and I almost can't breathe I'm so angry. And we can't get through to our Representatives to say what the FUCK is going on?

Watching Wilkerson's(?) testimony, this is the point in the movies where the reporters would be stampeding out the doors with their notepads rushing to be the first to break the story. The people in the "audience" seemed fucking BORED.

I don't understand this.

I would like to be able to go into the House and Senate and PLAY some of these clips (and clips of waterboarding) and make every member watch. And comment. And EXPLAIN - and then we could get in their face and say what the fuck are you going to do about this?

:grr:

12. I'm mad too. And baffled.
Why is this happening? Is this bush's doing or was it inevitable? We are the only "democracy" in the world without a free press to stand up to the government. What on God's green earth is wrong with us? What kind of country is this anyway?

:grr: as well

5. Cenk, you are one of the very few in the media who I trust
to tell it like it is. No inuendo. No slick talk. Just the way it is.

I carry that around with me and try to engage my fellow citizens in some dialogue.

What else should I do? Write a letter? I have. Demostrate for peace? I have.

Get signatures on a petition? I have. Get really upset with the media. That too.

Us little guys are getting the squeeze here. What the hell!

10. He's right
I've searched through every "news" outlet I consider even semi-mainstream, not a word.

Is it time to exercise our Constitutional right to abolish this failed government? If only.

11. Shame on the media!
This is evidence that Bush and his cronies committed heinous and horrific war crimes that should be top news.

But NNNOOOOO! All those cable news boys gives us garbage like Hannah Montana and sex scandals!

With the exception of Keith Olbermann, SHAME ON ALL THE MEDIA! They outta be punished for being lapdogs to an evil administration which has sent the country into the depths of hell for the first time since the Vietnam War. Gobbels would have been proud of them if he were living in this time period!

14. The political leadership
is leading us down the rat hole, and the once free press is greasing the skids.
Too bad Tim Russert died before he could redeem himself with some honest journalism and being the watchdog the founders intended when they wrote the free press into the First Amendment.

Witnesses testified about interrogation techniques and methods used to question suspected terrorists at U.S. detention facilities in Cuba and Afghanistan. Several former military judge advocates answered questions about the use of torture such as waterboarding, sensory deprivation, forced nudity, stress positions and exploitation of phobias, as well as legal justifications for the enhanced techniques. They also testified about the role senior Pentagon officials played in developing policies for detainee interrogations and the degree to which the Justice Department and Central Intelligence Agency participated in the decision-making process.
