Yes We Can” is the new musical and video tribute to Senator Barack Obama’s campaign for President by Maria Muldaur and Bonnie Raitt. Zennie Abraham (of Zennie’s Zeitgeist, one of the blogs selected to cover the Democratic National Convention in Denver in August of this year) was asked to co-produce and distribute the video on behalf of Maria Muldaur, Bonnie Raitt, and Joel Joseph of Studio B Recording in Sausilito, CA.

It’s not to be confused with the first great “Yes We Can” video and song by will.i.am, a terrific and pioneering work of its own.

13. Agreed!
I swear, when I hear her voice, I get goosebumps (and the hair stands up on my legs lol! *ahem* yeah ... so mebbe I need to shave. Meh.)

Listening to Thom Hartmann Friday, he took a very poignant stance (IMO): Obama is our candidate ... and though we may disagree with some of his votes (specifically for me/Thom: FISA) he invites our opinion. His website is a great vehicle for voicing our opinion ... good or bad ... with his votes. I've chimed in disagreeing on his FISA vote. I've chimed in way more often in support.

He's still the man for whom I will vote.

:kick: & rec

9. It's Cool - All The Music & Art
from people all over the place, famous and ordinary folks.

This outpouring will never happen again.

Great idea!
I used to work in record biz, and radio, and if I were still in it - I'd pass this idea on to someone who could possibly make it happen. Proceeds could go to Obama or Hillary to pay her debt.

Really nice. I liked the "Si, se puede" at the end, nice touch to a great version of that song.

The owners ate the cane and the workers ate the weeds
