4. This would be a riot if he wasn't a real candidate. |
|
It's so scary that anyone applauds him. I don't know if he is exhibiting early signs of Alzheimer's or if he's just old and slipping mentally.

I know this clip looks terrible to people with an IQ in the double digits (especially when compared to a brilliant Harvard Law graduate), but hanging out at Sturgis will play well with the albino white trash in the South and in the rural Midwest.
Say what you will about Bush/Cheney, but they ran a sleek, well-produced campaign in '00 (especially) and '04. McCain's campaign has been bad, even by the Hollywood/tabloid/PR criteria that characterize US elections. Just cosmetically and "tactically" speaking, Obama has ran a MUCH better campaign than McCain. If this old, flip-flopping retard beats a telegenic Harvard Law graduate who uses much better campaign signs and much slicker TV commercials, then there's nothing we can do to win an election. There is no way McCain should be this goddamn close in the polls. Obama is running a better campaign in every fucking way.
Oh, and I don't remember McCain ever staying in Washington while Congress was in recess. He's never turned down a vacation to stay in Washington doing the work of the people (and by "the work of the people," that means crafting new ways to squeeze 90% of the population a little harder). Of course, when you're a senator, and there is no accountability from the public, every day is a vacation with the best prostitutes, drugs, and vacations all paid for by corporate lobbyists.
I wish this old cocksucker would just drop dead.

25. I've been saying the same thing: John McCain will be the next POTUS. |
|
Because Obama is too black and too smart to win. (And that -of course- is not my opinion, but I think it is the general opinion.)

24. It doesn't matter, as was proven in 2000 and 2004. It'll be spun as a McCain win. |
|
I know what you're saying: Obama is obviously stronger on the substance AND on presentation, so when the debates take place, there will be no way anybody could say McCain won. Unfortunately, most people don't watch the debates all the way through, and the continual repetition that McCain won (either "on the substance, but not the presentation" - they said that about Bush in one of the debates in 2004 - that very notion is so ridiculously laughable - or that he won because he was "more authentic") the 24/7 cable news media will be internalized by most people. They just repeat one or two sentences over and over again, and those things take on lives of their own, becoming conventional wisdom. What actually happens in the debates means nothing, unfortunately.
Again, keep in mind that this is the same press that convinced America that Bush was a "master debater."
