This was a video authorized by and produced by the original creators of The Smurfs. It was produced during the run up to the war with Iraq and its intent was to place the image of war in a context that would jar the viewers imagination. Due to information overload most had been numbed to the notion of war seeing it as a distant thing that did not effect them. This video was meant to break through that numbness.
