2. This interview infuriates me

Thank you for posting it, but Wyden's inability to concede that the Dems in the Senate are COMPLICIT in this BS makes me think there aren't even ONE right-minded politician on these issues.

Come on, Democrats. Frame issues, fight, don't just roll over. Christ.

6. K&R Good interview, but, I don't think he ever actually answered

the question on FISA, re: why they even brought the bill to the floor.

7. There're only 100 U.S. Senators, so the way they work is

never to make it personal. Odds are Wyden opposed bringing the bill to the floor, but in the Senate you just don't throw a Senator under the bus in a public interview. You have to try to get the same person on your side the next time, especially the majority leader of your own party. It certainly would serve no useful purpose after the fact. His evasion was an answer in itself; he didn't try to justify the action. Senators can only cajole and deal to try to get their colleagues to do something. The constituents, including citizen lobbyists, and progressive commentators have to bring the heat.
