3. What Rachel couldn't say....
...in response to Buchanan's BS about what more that could have been said to 'gut', as they seem to like to say, John McCain, is: 'You know Pat Buchanan is one those guys that has never been, nor could never be, circumcised...because there's no end to the prick!'...no matter what is said or what is not said, PB and the rest of the rightwing pundits with an agenda, will say that they should have said this, or the should have done that. This whole 'effin' mess is like watching a couple of movie critics trying to come up with something bad to say about something...hell these bastards - Buchanan, Murphy, Scarborough, et. al., if they were movie critics, would have given The Godfather a 'D'.

I just hope the Dems lay into the Repug bastards next week in Minn...that assumes that the 'news' organizations will allow a decent Dem on their panel...hell, I'll bet Carville will go easier on the Repugs than he did on the Dems, the pussy-whipped, coonass, peckerwood.

6. John Kerry did
"President Obama and Vice President Biden will shut down Guantanamo, respect the Constitution, and make clear once and for all, the United States of America does not torture, not now, not ever.".

Buchanan wasn't listening. He hears only himself speak.

8. Pat's right, and Rachel is basically right too
She's right about it being a good speech, and Kerry did excellent. However, Pat is dead on, they have amazing amounts of material to blast McCain with. You almost can't go over the top. Barack can always play good cop, that's his thing and Michelle had to introduce herself to America in a positive manner, Hillary had to reconcile, but everybody else should be dropping the hammer. Look, people don't really give a shit in the end about bipartisanship and niceness and rainbow fluffy chocolate bunny rabbits, they forget that in about two seconds. The GOP is shameless. They took a mentally unstable guy like Zell Miller and turned him loose to outcrazy every crazy out there with a bunch of lies four years ago. People loved it. Independents etc. They ate that nutty BS up. It resonated with them. Independent voters are some of the biggest idiots that walk the earth, if you scare them enough, or bash the other guy into submission they'll listen to anything. And the base loves beatdowns. New voters want people to come out and call a spade a spade and crack skulls. Now you don't have to go as nuts as Republicans do, they have no shame, but, at some point you need to whip some ass. Dems don't do enough of it. And it's one big reason why we've only had 12 years of Dem presidential years out of the last 40.
