No promises that you might like what I have to say, but I will be honest in telling you what I think if you want me to.

I'm thinking about writing an ad for the Democratic candidate in my own district, too.

I used to work for the candidate in this district in NJ-5 in 2004 against one of the most "extreme" fundamentalist Republicans in Congress, or so they say. I learned a lot about campaigning for congresional candidates.

I used to intern at Democracy for America, and then returned home to finish up college and a former high school teacher of mine decided to run for Congress. So naturally I joined up.

14. Are you referring to Les Claypool 4 prez in your nickname?

I learned to play Tommy the Cat on my bass when I was in High School when it first came out in the early nineties. Last year, I sat down and figured out most of Sailing the Seas of Cheese. Not real well, but it is at least recognizable. American Life is my favorite to play.

I have another story for you if that's the Claypool you are talking about.


PS: I was involved with DFA once. I burned out for a while and I had to withdraw, but I still talk to one or two friends from the old days.
