3. Question--what if John McCain harbored eight years of unresolved
anger with George Bush, Karl Rover, etc., regarding the humiliation that he suffered during the 2000 election and laid out a well crafted plan to kill off the Republican Party. How would you achieve that? Ask a total neophyte nobody to be your running mate. Watching this video made me think that either McCain is more of an idiot than GW--is that possible???? or he is Machiavelli.

5. Early polls say Palin LOSES support for women
The polls are saying that on first impression, women are LESS likely to support McCain after he named Palin.

See this article:
http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003844485

And that is before people understand some simple facts:

1) She is stridently against all abortion, not making any exceptions for cases of rape or incest
2) She does not believe human activities cause global climate change
3) She advocates teaching creationism in public schools.

I don't see how the numbers go up after they get to know her better.

6. Not really
She'll get the votes of those who only wanted a woman running for president (e.g., Harriet Christian and company), but it would be an insult to Hillary Clinton to say that most of her supporters were just uniformed female supremacists. That the candidate is a woman is a bad reason by itself to oppose her, but an equally bad reason by itself to support her.

A woman will be president someday, but no woman will win national office in 2008.

Hey, that reminds me: When was the last time we heard from Geraldine Ferraro? Maybe Howie D has her locked up in his maple syrup shed until November 5.

11. Yesterday
When a post (on the video forum, I think, but I didn't watch it) said she was on FoxNoise praising the choice of Palin.

How far has Geraldine Ferraro fallen?

I would say not very far.

I thought it hurt Hillary to have her in her corner. JMHO

7. Clinton "fans"...? Maybe.
But Clinton supporters, thoughtful and intelligent voters with obvious brain stem activity --- not very likely.

10. Interesting
The part of the video where Palin says she doesn't think 'whining' helps the women's cause opens the way for Biden and the Democrats as a whole to attack her. If the Republicans complain that you are being too hard on her because she is a woman just play that clip. The pundits have been saying that Biden will have to watch out during the debates that he is not seen as 'bullying' her. Go after her in the debates Biden and if they complain or try to use the 'bullying' charge just play that clip and your home free.

14. Nice point.
I say beat her down as hard as possible at every front. Humiliate her and make her suffer for her party. I want to see numerous negative attack ads that rip her apart and attack her family and her experience. I want everyone in America to see her as the nothing that she is. She should have declined the nomination for lack of expertise. Since she didn't, she is fair game just like the animals she loves to murder with her rifle. Let's put an end to the McCain campaign by ruining his VP pick.

15. PUMAns were never Democrats to start with
They are the same old Republican Rushbots that voted for Hillary in our Primary. No real Democrat would consider this ticket.
