1. Good news
Virginia is historically a red state, so this is good news and very hopeful.

5. Good to see this
but it always strikes me as strange that Republicans only get it when something DIRECTLY impacts their lives. They just don't seem to have the concern for their fellow man that the Democrats do. The young navy wife doesn't get it until HER husband is sent off to die.

22.  Yes, this is true but what's most important is that they do get it
I think they have all along, it had to impact them in a more personnel way!

As long as they are voting for Obama and voting for change we should welcome them. It's not just about Democrats it's about Americans and America. If they are out there working on behalf of the Obama campaign they are putting their actions up for all to see.

7. The republican party
is basically made up of blind followers and I guess it takes a lot to jolt them back to reality.

20. Great to hear that.
Having spent a big chunk of my childhood in central VA, I was thrilled to watch video of Obama's campaign stop in Lynchburg!

15. Republicans
I saw the video on the Obama blog. I also watched some of Obama's interchange in Terre Haute Indiana with Hoosier Republicans. I am from Indiana, although Northwest about an hour East of Chicago. It heartens me to know that there are Republicans in Indiana who are supporting Obama.

Had some bad experience walking my first parade as a Democrat in Valparaiso, Indiana today, that I wrote about on Daily Kos

16. I was a Republican right out of high school, but after looking at Reagan...
Their Abuse of Power must end.

I am glad the there are Republicans who can put the Nation First. That is what we all need to do. Honor, Integrity, Truth, and Justice. And, because we are human, a bit of humility and forgiveness.

Thanks for the post.

24. K&R!!!
- Well, I for one am willing to give some of credit for this to Rush Limpballs. No, really.

I mean, he tried his damndest to screw-up the Democratic primaries by telling Repukes to vote in them so that they could affect the outcomes. But it would seem that all he accomplished was that he got them used to voting for Democrats. And now they like it. And can't stop themselves from doing it again!!!

Hey, by the way... weren't those some Republican Community Organizers we just saw there?!?!!? It would seem that some of those "Thousand Points of Light" that Dubya's daddy used to mention are still hanging around. Only they're working for the Democrats now.

As I live and breathe....
