3. This is NOT the right LINK...Get the ENTIRE Interview |
|
You have to link the entire conversation..........
Chris Matthews in this case, defended Obama better than Obama has himself on the Lipstick on a Pig comment. Let's break down what Chris actually said:
-You mean to tell me that the McCain campaign really thinks the Senator Obama called Sarah Palin a pig.....speaking to a McCain talking head -Chris showed the ad with Katie Couric -Chris asked again after ad, if the McCain talking head if the McCain campaign called Hillary a pig in 2007 -Chris went on to explain at least 10 Republican congressional leaders that used the phase in the last three years -Chris then pulled up a book "Lipstick on a Pig" written by a McCain staff director in 2007 -Chris then asked, John McCain would not stoop this low in this campaign, would he? Would he come on this show and defend this Lipstick on a Pig mess. -The McCain talking head was left SPEECHLESS!!!!!!!!!!
We HAVE to give Chris Matthews his due on this one and he stood up to the Repuke spin.
Thanks, Chris for this clarification of this NON-ISSUE.

4. I was proud of Tweety. |
|
He has been eating Republicans alive, the last few days.
As for the actual complaints about the "lipstick on a pig" remark, I think we should fall back on the eternal principal of "He who smelt it, dealt it." Who but a Republican would think that Barack, in the middle of a tirade against McCain's policies, would suddenly change course to dis SP, and then go back to his original substance?
Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to call McCain a pig, but I'm not running for office.

6. If the campaign says it, you say it. It's that simple. McCain is a crook and a liar. He has NO |
