Sarah does not think we should second guess Israel in what it has to do to defend itself.

She feels strongly about this.

She said it in response to THREE different questions! Different questions, same answer!

She is saying it doesn't matter whether we can actually successfully take the "enemy" down or not, nor, indeed, whether they are, in fact, the enemy or not.

And that's a real accomplishment. He even pronounces nu-kyuh-ler better. What, she can't remember what they wrote out for her (new-clear) after 5 days?

What I keep thinking as I see these clips is that she sounds like a ... beauty pageant contestant, answering questions about "world peace." (Miss South Carolina, anyone?).

But David Gergen thought it was okay that she didn't know what the Bush Doctrine was. Nobody knows. I'VE GOT NEWS FOR YOU, GERGEN!

I know what the Bush Doctrine is, in detail. I recall it being delivered to the West Point audience in the summer of 2002, and my realization--even before I read Wesley Clark's excellent analysis in the Washington Monthly--that this was the most terrifying, radical change in American foreign policy in a century.

And guess what, I'M NOT RUNNING FOR VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. And even though I know a tremendous amount about the Bush Doctrine (I once had a discussion with John Kerry about it), I wouldn't presume myself to be even wildly, remotely, in any way ready to be vice president of the United States.

Oh, Lord help us.

5. Okay I'll rate her at about a 10th grader understanding .....

or comprehension, or ummmmmm maybe not even that .... But at least a 10th grader presentation of these things, minus any actual facts or knowledge of the subject matter. Yeah around 10th grade would be about right.... geesh. That was painful to watch.

So the Iraq war was not necessary in Palin's view because it was never imminent. Bush never used the word because 1) it has legal meaning 2) you have to PROVE imminent danger just like cops do.:smoke:

Gibson was so frustrated he had to ask you to clarify your answer THREE TIMES, and made the "blizzard of words" comment.

"Blizzard of words" is just a nice way of saying "Bullshit - you don't have a clue about what I just asked you."

Cripe, he's your friend! Imagine the questions you'd have to answer if a REAL journalist was asking them.

Palin looked very uncomfortable in that interview.

This whole notion that we can just move into sovereign nations without their permission because it serves our interests is the very example of arrogance that has led to terrorists wanting to attack us. Hate to break this to you, Sarah and all of you knuckle-draggers who think she's just great, but these terrorists aren't attacking us because they hate us for our freedoms.
