1. John's proposal is lacking because it does nothing to address the unnecessary role
of private health insurance companies in the outrageous cost of medicine in our country.

2. Yep, In order to work it has to be single payer and cut out
the privateer middle men, the insurance companies. I will not vote for any candidate that triangulates this issue. Private insurance has to go, period.

3. Medicare for ALL
Short, sweet, simple, takes out the insurance companies and everyone understands it since everyone knows someone on Medicare.

If you can sell that to Congress, than you should run for President.

I'm for single payer, but after the crap we saw with Walter Reed situation, in which yes, it was contracted out to Cheney and his ilk's former company, the Americans who have decent coverage are going to say no to single payer.
