On another thread, someone said that people should "know" that homosexuals aren't rapists and pedophiles--and my answer was that, sadly, this isn't the case--showing films like this LETS FOLKS KNOW and makes it harder for the conservatives to spread lies and hate.

I'm glad, so glad, that Canada does recognize the rights of gay, lesbian, bi and transgendered people. We have no rules like the don't ask, don't tell.

Christian marriage still flourishes, no one has tried to marry a goat, and the only thing that might be a bit odd to folks down there is that we've had very public weddings of military officers.

It's time to bury that stupidity and join the rest of the civilized world, folks.

11. I loved the way Little Mosque on the Prairie

talked of gay marriage on one of their episodes. Showed it to be normal, and only the buffoons of the series being against it (interestingly enough, the buffoons-Joe and Baber--were prejudiced against each other as well).

13. I'm 52 years old

and I wish these guys the best to continue living happily together through my lifetime. Just think if they were good "christians," they would have most likely been involved in unfulfilling marriages and divorced a time or two by now. Imagine.
