2. Oh god please let it be so! |

No regulations at all. There'd be no confidentiality agreements. No agreements giving drilling rights to a certain company. Hell I could go start drilling for oil. Who's gonna stop me? There's no regulations.

8. But she can see Russia from an island in the Bering Straight |
|
That make's her a foreign policy expert.
Her state is a major source of US domestic oil. That makes her an energy expert.
She has some cash in her purse. That makes her a financial wizard who knows how to manage markets.

10. It's becoming clear Palin is the energy industry's Trojan Horse |
|
I think it's becoming clear that Palin was put on the ticket to represent the forces in this country that only want to postpone the development of other energy alternatives and delay adopting a greener approach to energy consumption for as long as they can possibly get away with it. It's the GOP's "drill, baby, drill" platform plank.
I'm not that familiar with Alaska's system of Oil company taxation and the subsequent redistribution of the windfall taxes, but it seems like Alaska recently raised the amount Oil producers have to pay the State for each barrel of oil extracted. It appears that Big Oil is a highly regulated and taxed industry in Alaska...it's almost a nationalized resource...but not so in the lower forty-eight. Yet Palin has adopted a position at odds with the rest of her state in this campaign. What gives?
I wonder if Palin's true agenda...supported by her Big Oil backers, no doubt...is to de-regulate and de-tax the Oil and energy producers in Alaska in the future? And how better to achieve this than to be in the White House?
It would be interesting to see how Alaskans react when they stop receiving those $3000 checks every year. I'm sure her popularity would suffer.

For the love of money ! see Link : www.wisecountyissues.com We can't stand another day of destruction to feed a behemoth out of date clean coal fired power plant. Sean Hannity says the GOP is the party of GOD, I have to ask, Mr. Hannity is this what Jesus would do ?
