trying to live up to McCain's billing her as the #1 expert in the country on energy. Using technical-sounding terms like "fungible commodity" and "molecules."

When someone really knows what they're talking about, you can tell. They sound nothing like the way Palin did.

oil from different areas can have very different composition (light louisiana sweet crude anyone?). of course, as the person who "knows more about energy than probably anyone else in the United States of America" she's keenly aware of this. not that it is actually relevant in any way to what she was (apparently) trying to say. i just thought i might be helpful, and point out that she is in fact an energy genius, in spite of the complete lack of evidence for, and increasing evidence against, this inherent truth. faith, people. you gotta have faith.
