5. Cenk is pretty well grounded.
There can be no bipartisan accord between a truth and a lie.

We have to expect that our politicians can distinguish the true from the false. So yes, Rove is right, it's to the advantage of every politician that the blame for every problem be cast at their opponent's feet, regardless of what is true or false. And so is distinguished the false from the lie - and is born all the equivocation about "does McCain know what his campaign is saying?", "does McCain know that what he's currently saying is false?" "Does he care?"

Over the past 8 years the neocon Republicans have proven that not one of them cares the least gawdamn about a difference between a truth and a lie, if it should get between them and their imperial object. But there's no way to come to a bipartisan accord with THAT, by definition and by the facts "on the ground". That's simple well-grounded logic. Rather, THAT is something to be distinguished from, in a civilized world.

Cenk's anger is visceral and well-grounded, and under control. A most excellent commentator.
