19. Basically, he says why would the dems want to go on |
|
fox; it would legitimize them, just like the republicans wouldn't want to go on air america; cuz they'd slam the reps. just like fox would do to dems.

15. Another point to make (not be legitimized) |
|
On FoxNews, the liberal blogger, the left wing blogger and the extreme left wing blogger are the same person.

Fox Noise promotes the extreme right-wing views only. Unfair and unbalanced.

11. Apparently the hospitality room at Fox is pretty grim |

stale crackers and KoolAid. It's meant to be really shabby behind the facade.
They might have the biggest cable audience but they certainly don't have the biggest profits.

9. That guy did a good job--he refused to let them step on his comments, |
|
he moved his hands (which makes the guy in the contol room tell the cameraman to go BACK to him, even if they cut away to try to minimize his presence) and he kept his voice decibel level sufficient to be heard over the attempted interruptions.
He's a co-host? Sheesh, he went a bit off the accepted talking points with those comments!!! What ever happened to "Oh, they're scared, they have no ideas, they can't debate"...that kind of shit? How refreshing that someone has figured out, at long last, that we don't especially care to be fucked over by a bunch of third rate hacks!!!

13. This is the only Faux show that I watch |
|
The liberal guy, forget his name right now, was great. He said that he didn't really want to diss Fox since it helped him afford his kool aid. And then went on to assert the liberal position on the issue. A terrific moment in the history of the program.
The show was pretty good yesterday even if I don't agree with all the participants. The host is an equal opportunity guy.

18. Neil Gabler is his name |
|
and you're right--he's great. They used to have Jeff Cohen (who is at FAIR and left the show to do Donahue's show on MSNBC) as the liberal panelist. I always thought Cohen was great, but I think Gabler is even better, if only because he talks about the news as narrative, which is precisely the way I understand it.

I forget his name but he is not only a voice of reason (states the obvious) on Fox but in general.

20. He needs to be opposite Sean Hannity. |
|
Of course Fox would never have that. They stick him on the show that critiques the media and doesn't get many viewers.
