1. The commercials I've seen for it show W.
hitting the floor hard and I could swear there was a pretzel flying out of his mouth.

8. I think those might be pills....
...flying out of his mouth, as he hits the floor. (Referring to his long term partying and drug use, is my guess). See the trailer on the official website (I've linked it below).

2. Hasslebeck was railing against it on the View
just based on the trailer. My argument is that books (unauthorized biographies) come out about sitting presidents all the time. Why not a movie?

7. You do know she's insane, right?
What else would she do but rail against it? She is after all the perfect right wing mouth piece.

I love how the cast now is politely dismissive of her.
Rosie couldn't hide the fact that she hated her (which was funny and interesting to watch in a way). But this cast does it in a different way, that still cracks me up.

5. I'm not spending money to see this, when we have lived it for the past 8 years.

6. The cast is filled with liberals....

Richard Dreyfus as Cheney.
James Cromwell as George Bush (sr.)
Ellen Burstyn as Barbara Bush

I KNOW Dreyfus hates republicans and all they stand for. So this will be interesting. James Cromwell is as liberal as they get. He used to work with and supported the black panthers in the 60's. He's one of my favorite actors. Ellen Burstyn, words don't describe how awesome I think she is. This post would go on far too long if I continued detailing the liberal/progressive credits of much of the cast, so I'll leave it for people to explore on their own (if interested).

Given the last eight years of media shut down, I'm shocked this even got made, much less released. Apparently it was funded overseas. Which is understandable considering how much they love (ahem) this administration.

Just saw a hysterical (and kinda' shocking) ad for this airied on FX network. Which prompted me to look it up.
The trailer background music was Talking Heads, As the Days go By (very 80's) (much like what's found on the official film website).

More from the official website

I'm still not sure I want to see this. As another poster said the last eight years was enough for me, but the more I see of it, the more interesting it is--from a story standpoint. So I may need to lay down some moolah to see this. Besides, where else can I wear my anti-shrub shirts? ;)
