He will keep this up to the end, I trust. Dave has had his fill of the crap just like we have.

Noboby does this as well as Dave, with the possible exception of Tina Fey!

who voted for that oaf, I get really scared. He was such a pathetic candidate and seeing those clips I remember why I was appalled by him back then. I had no idea how bad a president he would be.

I was always political, not as into it as I am now, but I knew this guy was bad news as soon as I saw him. How he ever convinced anyone to vote for him is just ridiculous.

15. I think Poppa volunteered him...he needed someone to hide the Iran/Contra |
|
Papers. Just sayin'.
Now, I'm wondering what they'll pull on the Iraq War, Halliburton, KBR, missing funds, no-bid contracts, Abu Ghraib, Katrina, attorney firings, Plame, on and on and on. I still think this election is an exercise. That something will happen and there won't be any voting.

was prepping Jeb for the job. No one ever thought George would ever amount to anything. They just tolerated him.

He sort of Forrest Gumped his way into becoming the president, the worst one ever, but he got there. McCain's his best hope of finding somebody worse.

|
They thought Jeb would win but George wouldn't. Sadly we've had to pay for George feeling the need to save face with his family, especially his father. Now we have John McCain who also has father-approval issues and has to proved something. Why can't these guys just go to an analyst?

19. I thought at the time, |
|
he would be a fairly ineffectual, but mostly harmless one-term president. I figured I would just have to suck it up and wait until 2004 for a return to sanity. I had no idea how bad he could be. Now those same misfits that voted for GW are all starry-eyed over Palin. Our country has turned into one big reality TV show.

I don't think I've ever really gotten over it entirely. I lived through Nixon and even that never prepared me for Bush-43.

Without even knowing exactly how or why, but I knew he was going to start a war with Iraq. I know 1000 times more now than I did then, but I had this guy effing pegged right off. Another chickenhawk Republican hot for war so they can make up for the years they were getting swirlies in junior high or daddy was disappointed in his weakling little son etc.

Once again with all the comedy that's written, nothing is funnier than real life. Why is Bushs eyebrows furrowed like some kind of drunk trying to pass a sobriety test.
