At the risk of sounding elitist, 85% of conservatives are below average IQ. The other 15% may be really smart, but just don't have a social conscience or strong sense of empathy. Liberals are more thoughtful and part of that package is a stronger sense of humor. A good sense of humor requires one to be able to look at a situation from different vantage points, and that is simply incompatible with conservatism.

There is some enormously funny stuff going around in political videos and almost all of it is from the progressive point of view. Seriously I could admire a funny conservative video even if I disagreed with it, but that is so rare as to be almost a moot point. Maybe once a month one sees a conservative piece that reflects a bit of wit or cleverness.

With Youtube and the other video sites, we are being rewarded. Things that are funny go viral, and that is a powerful conduit for bigger messages.

Don't underestimate the importance of these pieces.
