4. Where's the beef?

When she's not trash-talking Obama, Palin says "We want to tell you what our plan is." "When you see what our plan is, you will like it." If they had such a good plan, they would actually be telling people what it is.

I'm reminded of McCarthy's "list of names". I can see Palin standing there with a manila folder: "Do I have a plan in this folder? You betcha! Will it make America strong again? Gosh darn right! Will it make us energy independent? You betcha! Will it allow you to spend $200K a year on a $25K salary? Yer darn tootin'! Will it mean you can eat lots of fatty foods without gaining weight? Heaven's to Betsy yes! And once I'm elected president. . .I mean once John McCain is elected president, we may tell you what our plan is. Until then, hate Obama! Hate Obama! Hate! baby, hate!"
