Bill Ayers offers ideas for reforming the public school system.

William Charles "Bill" Ayers (born 26 December 1944) is an American elementary education theorist and former leading 1960s anti-war activist. He is known for the radical nature of his activism in the 1960s and 1970s as well as his current work in education reform, curriculum, and instruction.

He is now a professor in the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, holding the title of Distinguished Professor.

2. I found part 1, too
Yes. He wants kids to emerge from school equipped to do more than simply know their place in the hierarchy. Is that considered subversive these days?

5. thank you MrObama for this. Can we all agree that Bill Ayers has
been portrayed by FOX and others in the media to appear as a modern day Jekyl. The idea that we insist that once acquitted an individual is free to get on with his life is simply that--an idea. We never intended to allow the likes of an Ayers or even an OJ Simpson to get on with their lives. We reserve the right to ride past their homes at 2:00 a.m. blaring our horns and screaming epitaphs. The fact that this man and his wife chose to serve inner cit residents in their adult lives--to serve like Kennedy urges so many college grads to do in the 60s is all but forgotten on the Hannitys, the Limbaughs, the Reagans. I have gained greater respect for Obama during this election. Rather than condemn Ayers for the man that he is today he has sought to insist that the man paid for his wrong and has led a life of model citizenship.

7. Agreed. Also Rev. Wright was ran on a loop without ever showing his Audacity of Hope sermon.
I found it quite odd that the media NEVER played the Rev. Wright sermon that most impacted Obama. As soon as I heard it, I knew the corporate media fix was in:

He's right on with the ideals of teaching being pounded out over time. :(

Even aspiring teachers misspell sometimes. ;)
