Didn't finish it but he points out that law schools used to be liberal bastions but in the 60's they tried to develop their own system and exited the law schools en masse. Ready and willing to fill the spots were the just-to-emerge-from-their-disasterous-decade conservatives. This explains the conservative movement in judgeships.

...of cutting public education funding due to lack of cash. The real reason being that they want to privatize that too.
