I am lucky enough to have a friend who gave me a ticket to the DNC Women's Leadership Conference this past weekend. Thought I'd share what Suze had to say with the rest of you.

One of the women who sat at our table for lunch said that she lives two blocks from the Obamas, their kids play together. She said she's known them for fifteen years and that they are still exactly the same; this experience hasn't changed them. It was an amazing weekend.

I didn't know that she'd endorsed Obama and I kinda like her. Her book about Money and Women was one of the most helpful I've ever read. I'm glad to know, for sure, that she's on the same side as us in this election - and so passionately.

5. That's the thing - she said that she's tried very hard not to let

anybody know her politics for all these years, but that she just can't keep quiet anymore even if it ends up costing her personally. She said she had to do it for the people who call in to her show and are losing their jobs and homes and living in cars. I don't have any money and am not a huge fan of hers, so I kinda planned to use her speech to go out into the hallway and call home. I was glad I stayed to listen.
