1. McCain opens with well wishes for a sick person AGAIN

at least he picked a Republican this time.
I digress...enjoy.

2. Thanks for posting.K & R!Here`s what I think about the debate...

I must say that Obama looked a little tired.But he kept his cool and let McCain look like an idiot.I can understand why Independents thought Obama won this debate.Obama had a more unifying message and was consistent with his answers.He gave a good answer to the supreme court justice question regarding Roe vs Wade.Obama was also strong on healthcare issues,education,equality and the economy.It was obvious that Obama made it clear that he wants to focus his tax cuts for the middleclass and hit McCain on his taxplan to give taxbreaks for big corporations and oil companies and the wealthy.Obama was also good explaining how he wants to make it easier for small businesses by giving them tax credits and eliminating capital gains tax.Obama cornered McCain how businesses will not be able to afford health insurance for their employees because it would become to expensive under McCain`s healthcare plan.

Obama gave a good answer on the Ayers issue but could have explained a little better the ACORN issue.Obama looked Presidential and was very good in communicating with the American people by looking into the camera.
McCain was more aggressive but he was bringing up the "Joe the plumber" story all the time which was pretty annoying.Obama scored on substance and style and seemed to care about ordinary people and small businesses and all the problems they are facing today.McCain was good at keeping Obama on defense but the problem McCain had when he continued attacking Obama all the time is that McCain looked angry at some times.Had McCain kept his cool his attacks would had been more effective.

This wasn`t Obama`s best debate but he did a great job making McCain look like an idiot.Obama did what he had to do and that was that he focused on the issues and let McCain attack - although Obama was a little too defensive sometimes - he was good at making McCain look angry sometimes.Obama showed that he could agree with his opponent and even give him credit but should have focused a little more time to tie McCain with Bush even if Obama did that sometimes but not so effectively as he did in the other debates.Obama was also very good to explain that it`s important that Democrats,Republicans and Independents come together to solve the difficult challenges that lie ahead and here`s where Obama scored well with Independents and probably with moderate Republicans.Obama also showed that he`s a champion for the middleclass and the working people because he made it clear that Obama`s taxcuts would give three more times relief than McCain`s taxcuts.
