1. When will they shut up about this non-event.
And now they are giving that message over the telephone? It hasn't had much success to begin with, and yet they just keep on going with it. This shows you just how LITTLE they have to say against Obama.

2. Why, why, WHY isn't this kind of shit ILLEGAL???
I am all for free speech, even if I don't like what someone says, but when you out and out lie in a Presidential race about your opponent, just blatantly fucking LIE, how can this be okay?

I. Do. Not. Understand!

3. I am so with you
but when you out and out lie in a Presidential race about your opponent, just blatantly fucking LIE, how can this be okay?

And that's really the issue, isn't it?? I thought it was very good and responsible for the journalist to add at the end of her story that "no one was hurt in the bombings by the Weather Underground."

I'm with you. How the McCain campaign is allowed to get away with BLATANT lies and distortions I will never understand.

4. It should be treated as slander. That's what it is.
Lying really should not be legal in political campaigns.

5. When this type of tactic was used against McCain
during the 2000 campaign, I felt very badly for him. I thought it was wrong and my sympathy went to him. But now I see how he works. He is unable to break the cycle. That is his character--he will do onto some as others have done onto him.

Having been a victim -- he seeks to victimize. That is not Presidential material. THAT is a coward.
