Orrin Hatch describes Lam as a law professor with nor previous experience as a prosecutor.

According to wikipedia, she was a judge when she was appointed by George W. Bush to be a US Attorney General, and she was a prosecutor from 1986 to 1997:

No mention of her ever being a law professor in that article.

It is really fun to see the PodTHings of Rachel on You Tube !! I love her shows on Air America and subscribe to the premium service to get them when I like to hear them every morning -- her brilliant wit gets me going. The pod things are great-- seeing Rachel as she is and likes to be -- not all dolled up as they do for the regular TV news chats. But I am glad she's going on more and more regular news shows too because she's so smart and knows how to dash out those sound bytes with the best of em. But thanks again for showin me the PodThings -- I'm going to seek out more of them !!
