2. That White House guy repeats the simplistic GOP bullshit

That this was just because of Bush's bad run, and didn't have anything to do with the fact that the public has not agreed with the GOP on the important policies for a long time.

The big things that are different this year are:

1) A Party chair who took the fight to the GOP in all 60 states

2) A candidate who didn't spend every waking hour trying to look like a Republican.

That's why we are winning. Granted, it helps that Bush and McCain are assholes and morons, but they are Republicans, after all. You have to be an asshole and a moron to believe the sorts of things that they believe.
