1. I'm no Sherri fan. She's rather dim at times. But that was moving.
Everytime Hasselbeck tried to touch her Whoopie told her "Don't Go!" Awesome on Whoopi. She tried to prevent this feeling...her faux-sympathy is sickening.

3. I saw it live and couldn't help but think that woman is an idiot
She was undecided until the absolute last minute? What is her problem? Then she says it was because Palin planned to do something about special needs children of which she has one. WHAT?? Did she not educate herself about Palin and McCain's record on special needs? She should stop sobbing and start educating herself.

10. The show needed an undecided voter.
I think she made up her mind long ago.

13. She wasn't really undecided. She was just saying that, so she could seem objective.
If you ever watch the show, she pretty much defended Obama to the death everyday, and slammed McCain. She would even bring up his infidelity at times. It's clear she was never really undecided.

5. I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But any offspring of hers has limitations. BIG GENETIC ONES.
She is such an idiot. I am actually not a big fan of the view and forgot their names at first, so I was so excited because I thought that I would see Elizabeth Hasselbeck cry. Unfortunately it wasn't her.

7. the sentiment is moving
and I feel for her and the situation she is describing -- but I am alarmed at the manner in which she chose a President. Who speaks to you the most? How about who will do the best job? How about who can lead us out of the MESSES we are in?

Geeze -- I just wish people would look beyond themselves and pick a leader, not someone like themselves. they're voting for a narrative, an image that is being sold if they don't look at the voting records, the facts, etc. They might as well take a mirror everywhere they go.

That said, she made me cry just because --- her son:-) It is an amazing DAY!

11. I don't like her, but yeah, that was very nice.
And beyond what she said, for all those people outside the US who live in poverty and look to the US as a place where they can make it big, regardless of race, or class, or nationality, Obama's win clearly is very inspiring. :)
